As you may know, we, (Guitar Center), own the original 0021 from Clapton’s collection. As with Blackie we wanted to build a limited number of these guitars, reliced and detailed as with the electric guitars. When we started to get into the project, we were met with a number of problems. Primarily, to do the guitar in Brazilian rosewood like the original would mean a limited run of a handful at most, with a price tag in the $25K+ range.

We asked Martin to make a proto and they did so using Madagascar rosewood.
This is the only such guitar to be made and is the only replica made of the guitar that was owned by Clapton and Harrison.

It is a very unique instrument with a story.
