This crazy cool Custom 24 Semi-Hollow is part of a run that was designed around the inlay material. We started by selecting a beautiful Charloite Purple Swirl Inlay material and felt that this Macassar Ebony Top was the perfect compliment. Even though it’s a semi-hollow, we felt the top was too cool to put an f-hole in. We wanted to be able to enjoy the entire beauty of the top. We then selected a mesmerizing Macassar Ebony Fretboard and Veneer as a contrasting canvas for the Charloite inlay. The Charloite is great swirl of light and dark purple so we decided to make the tuning buttons Dark Purple and the Volume and Tone Knobs Light Purple to tie into the look of the inlay. The Ash back and neck has an almost hypnotic pattern that is emphasized by the Purple grain fill. At this point we felt that Metal pickups were the only way to complete this Macassar Masterpiece.
